Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. The audience was impressed by her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominees featuring models. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable national and international projects over the years. These include British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historical miniseries Napoleon. Additionally, she was a member of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
